Why City Girl Consignment? | After over 15 years in business, we are a small privately-owned, female driven, and family operated business that offers its customers, consignors and their items individualized attention. Your items will not be competing against groups of nearly identical pieces within our store.  Although we utilize technology and multiple selling platforms, we still value and promote pieces the same way we always have: one item at a time.

Our team consists of experienced, fashion loving sales professionals who are proud to help our customers find immaculate pieces at great prices. If you are in the area we would love for you to stop by and say hello!

What do I need to know before consigning with City Girl Consignment? | First of all, thank you for considering us for the resale of your pieces! We are thrilled to have you here!

  • To open a new account we need a minimum of 20 accepted pieces.
  • Walk-ins are welcome on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am - 1:00pm. If you are unable to come by during the walk-in hours we can make an appointment for you. Complimentary house calls are available for luxury designer pieces. Call the store for more info
  • All items must be brought in on hangers, freshly laundered and in ready-to-sell condition. Please look over items for stains or imperfections.
  • Items are accepted by season. Our season guidelines can be found below. 
  • Vintage is not our specialty, but we do make exceptions for some on-trend pieces.
  • We do not accept maternity brands, bridal gowns, dated items or anything with an odor. If you are unsure if your items meet our guidelines, please contact us. 

What brands do you accept? | We are one of the few consignment stores that accept a wide variety of brand names from J.Crew and Lululemon to Chanel and Hermes. One stop shop for all of your pieces!

How Consignment Payouts Work

When your item sells, you get paid based on the final selling price and item category.

Items Priced Under $200 - You earn 40% of the selling price after your item is sold.

Items Priced Over $200 - You earn 50% of the selling price after your item is sold.

Luxury Handbags - Your earnings increase with the sale price

$200–$1,499: 50% payout

$1,500–$2,999: 60% payout

$3,000–$4,999: 70% payout

$5,000 and up: 80% payout

S E A S O N A L   B R E A K D O W N

January – February: Spring 

Jumping into warmer weather, bring in your florals and spring pieces! We are taking blouses, dresses, skirts, pants, shoes. Long sleeves pieces are still acceptable, however no longer accepting heavy winter jackets, wool or cashmere sweaters.  

March – August: Summer 

New, never worn swimsuits, dresses, cover-ups, shorts, rompers, lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen pieces. Sandals, beach bags, sunglasses, summer hats. Items wearable in south Florida Summer heat.  

September: Light Fall 

Time for you fall transitional pieces, we are easing out of summer but not quite yet into winter. Still bring in those lightweight dresses, long sleeve blouses, 3/4 sleeve tops, jeans closed toed shoes, wide brim hats. No jackets just yet. 

October – November: Fall/Winter/Holiday 

Jackets, sweaters, long sleeve tops, heavier fabric items and dresses, jeans, boots, closed toe shoes and holiday items. 

December: Winter

Jackets, sweaters, long sleeve tops, heavier fabric items and dresses, jeans, boots, closed toe shoes. Final month for winter items. No longer accepting holiday.
